Mark Flood (b. 1957, Houston, Texas) is an artist living and working in Houston. He attended Rice University and graduated in 1981. Recent solo exhibitions include Paintings from the Postwar Era at Ever Gold [Projects] (San Francisco, 2019); GOOGLE MURDER-SUICIDE at Maccarone Gallery (2017); Mark Flood: Gratest Hits at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (2016); Paintings From The War For Social Justice at Ever Gold [Projects] (San Francisco, 2016); The Future is Ow at Marlborough Gallery (New York, 2016); American Buffet Upgrade at Stuart Shave/Modern Art (London, 2015); ASTROTURF YELP REVIEW SAYS YES at Peres Projects (Berlin, 2015); and Mark Flood at the Rubell Family Collection (Miami, 2015). His work has been reviewed and featured in many publications including Artforum, Art in America, Frieze Magazine, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
